Moment of the Day - Super Singer

Final Crisis #7, by Grant Morrison and Doug Mahnke

Superman always saves everyone, but the biggest question this raises is what song would he sing to save the universe?

I like the idea - I think it came from David Uzumeri's annotations - that it's meant to be the John Williams Superman theme.

I always hear the theme song from Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter when I read this. The main chorus is "It's all good! It's all right! Everybody get laaaaaaaaid TONIGHT!" Seriously, youtube it if you've never heard it, it is GLORIOUS. You can't not smile when you hear it.

I LOVED Final Crisis. I know a lot of people hated it (at least on the message boards I go to), but I love when Grant Morrison writes stuff that mess with my mind.

Under Grant Morrison, Superman beaten villains by singing to them and throwing small kryptonian shuttles at them. Sweet!

He would be singing his own uber-fantastic song. First of all he's Superman. Second of all it's about being creative. This isn't an American Idol try-out.
