You can blame me for the delay on this week's Cover of the Week. Instead of typing this up and posting it, I went off to watch Star Trek (sooooo good. You must go see it!). Matt: Dave Johnson's work always impresses me, he is probably one of the best cover artists out there. I especially like that he uses the title of the story that he is contributing to as part of the cover itself, not something added later to the piece. Kirk: This variant really caught my eye when I saw it at the shop and easily gets my pick for the Cover of the Week. While the artwork is excellent, the colouring stood out the most to me. Beautiful cover.Runners-Up: The Unwritten #1, Batman Confidential #29 & The Wonderful Wizard of Oz #6

My shop didn't get Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers yet! I was really looking forward to it, too. I hope at least as a consolation prize I get that variant cover.
