Cover of the Week - Hunger and Savage Wolverine

Let's not dilly dally as we work towards our vaunted Covers of the Week.  This time around, we've some picks that will both leave you starving for more and wild to see them.  So hit the jump to do just that!

Ken's Cover of the Week - Hunger #3 by Adi Granov

Ken: Galactus is so much more menacing when you can only see one appendage in scale against heroes. On top of knowing his penchant for destruction it adds to the sense of futility that the Ultimate Universe currently finds itself in.This cover gives off just enough of a horror vibe that it makes it seem more timeless compared to others that face an unstoppable threat.

Grant's Cover of the Week - Savage Wolverine #9 by Jock

Grant: I don't think I'll be surprising anyone when I say that Jock makes some of the best covers.  I absolutely adore the one he put together for Savage Wolverine #9.  It reminds me of a lot of his Scalped covers, but with a nice sci-fi twist to it all.  The two figures walking across that alien, desolate landscape under the watchful eye of an enormous moon is a simple, powerful, and above all, beautiful image that also happens to be sprinkled with hints about what the issue itself is all about.

Runner-Ups:  The Occultist #1, Batwing #24, Mara #6
