Cover of the Week - Daredevil: Dark Knights and Grindhouse: Doors Open at Midnight
Don't look now, but your Covers of the Week are upon us! This time around, we've some surprisingly bright nights and some mighty sweet lips for your viewing pleasure. So please join us beyond the jump to take a look at our picks for best cover of last week's batch of comics, along with our honourable mentions!
Ken's Cover of the Week - Daredevil: Dark Knights #6 by Amanda Conner
Ken: And now for something completely unexpected, crimefighting goes super casual. It's a complete reverse of Daredevil's appearance. Day instead of night, the appearance of possible fun, and Misty Knight rocking her bionic arm as his sidekick for the issue. It's as weird as the short lived series Baywatch Nights.
Grant: I'm far from the biggest Rocky Horror Picture Show fan, but I do really enjoy the parody poster that Dan Panosian has put together here for Alex de Campi and Chris Peterson's Grindhouse - Doors Open at Midnight #2. It manages to be both subtle and obvious, providing some visual coding that works perfectly as an homage and as a notion of what's going down within the comic itself - love how the bloody letters are recreated as honey.
