The Secret Six was probably the best thing to come out of Infinite Crisis and the annoucnement of an on-going is almost enough to wash the bad taste out of my mouth after Catwoman was cancelled, Rucka left Checkmate and Rogers left Blue Beetle.
Secret Six will be the book to watch come this fall if you're looking for a new Immortal Iron Fist, Catwoman, or Checkmate, or any other low selling, critically acclaimed book, because I fully expect this title to go under everyone's radar.
If one of your favourite titles was recently cancelled *coughNewX-Mencough* or had major creator shake-ups *coughIronFistcough*, then you should think about adding this title to your pull list in advance. Definitely a book to watch out for.

I'm looking forward to this comic with unbelievable joy and will likely shove it into the hands of every DC fan that wanders into the shop. Simone writing villains again is one of the best, likely-to-be-under-sold things that'll go on this year, I'm certain.
And Nicola Scott handling art for this is just awesome. These two are one of the best writer/penciller pairs out there.
I wholeheartedly agree with you, Kirk, about the Secret Six. I loved the way Simone handled this group when it was first introduced. It was rich. The group dynamics was fun to follow and every character had a very interesting profile and possibly their own agenda as well. Without being an overcomplicated book, like Checkmate, it does have it's own depth. The second mini we got didn't grab me as much, it felt rushed at some point (well, it was a mini, so here's the excuse), but with a regular series and with Simone leading the writing chores, it's seriously going to be one of my favorite series :)
