Probably the most iconic of all 90's costumes, and the one that had the most issues, Jean Paul Valley's Batman armor was created originally to take down Bane (will it make a grand appearance in Dark Knight Rises?). It had a bat computer in the helmet, shot mini bat discs from the wrists, and also had a super duper flashlight built into the chest. The claws on the hands seem like they would be a real burden to do any kind of real detective work.

Knightfall was my first formal introduction to Batman comics, just because of that I feel a lot of nostalgia when I see this costume. I actually liked the character of Jean Paul Valley, had every issue of his solo title.
Yeah, to be fair, the point of Azrael/Jean-Paul Valley was that he was going insane and was supposed to be an insane Batman, so here the costume actually works.
