Justin: I remember issue 600 like it was a couple months ago and here we are 50+ issues later. I only started reading ASM again when the scheduling change came to, and what a difference it's made. Dan Slott has been weaving an amazing web for the Spider-man lately. I haven't had this much fun reading Spider-man since I was a kid. Thank you Dan!

Justin: Suffice to say, this has been one of my favorite titles since it was released. I've loved most of what Morrison has done with Batman so when the announcement that he'd be leaving the book came through, I could only hope they would put Tomasi on the book. His history with Dick Grayson as Nightwing, and his amazing work with the GLC has given my high hopes for the book. Excited for this one.

Justin: I started picking up BoP on a whim, knowing how good Gail Simone is with dialogue and humor. I'm growing thin with this title, though. The book seems to be going extremely slow, and this might have something to do with the Brightest Day tie-in. The Black Canary/White Canary arc was good, but this Death of Oracle arc has me curious as to "why bother?" I'm thinking that this arc ties in greatly with the rest of the bat-books so I'll stick around, for now.

Justin: I've been pleasantly surprised by this title, much more so than Daredevil: Reborn, which is going to be a flip-through the next time it comes out. Ugh. I keep thinking about Sleeper or Criminal, when I read this book, and while there might a large gap, the potential is there. The most disappointing thing about this title however, is that it's going to be back to Daredevil after a couple arcs. I'm going to enjoy it until then, and maybe, if it's popular enough, they'll leave Black Panther as the star of the title. That would be good.

Justin: Three Green lantern titles seems like alot, doesn't it? I can't help but thinking that this has been the strongest title of the three. I've always enjoyed Tomasi's work on the Green Lanterns, and with this arc wrapping up, and leading into War of the Green Lanterns, I'm excited. On a side note, can they keep Bleeze (sp?) in this title, and not ship her to Red Lantern Corps, please?

Justin: Thank god that Robert Kirkman is writing this. I can't help but believe that he's finding ways to keep this book interesting, and admirably so. However, this Spawn/Venom/Punisher mix has me curious as to how long the book can keep going. Greg Capullo is amazing, and I have faith in Kirkman, so I'll keep picking it up. I hope this one can stay on schedule, too. Oh, and on a side-note, is the new Venom title by Remender going to be better or worse than this? I'm hoping better.

Justin: This title, alot like the other Brighest Day titles, are nearing the chop-block. I was interested in the book from the beginning due to the involvement of Max Lord, Checkmate, and Magog. Magog is dead, for better or for worse, and Checkmate is practically a joke, after I had greatly enjoyed the Rucka title from a few years back. Max Lord has been golden though, and while he's not quite Nick Fury awesome, he's still pretty cool. I'm not sure what the reprecussions of the title are going to be on Wonder Woman, or the rest of characters, although apparently Blue Beetle dies again. There's 5 issues left, and I still feel like the story is going to turn into another OMAC cop-out.

Justin: I didn't think I'd be picking this up, but with the hype it got, and the reviews, I didn't leave myself any choice. What a great mini. I don't know what the outcome of this is going to be, but I'm taking a guess that the Green Goblin will be back to harassing Spidey and friends sooner rather than later. Oddly enough, the gang influence that Osborn has given is an interesting concept. This isn't your regular super-villain anymore. He's much bigger than that, and it leads to good stories.

Justin: Twenty-five issues in, and we're back to the big bad villain that started the whole book. The best part is that this isn't a problem at all. Tony Bedard has made Starro interesting, which I didn't think was possible. Add that to the fact that he's made heroes like Captain Comet, Starfire, Not-so-hero-Lobo, and Adam Strange into deep characters has me hoping he gets free rein over the title no matter the sales numbers. I love this book, and everything Bedard has done with it. His guest-stars like the Green Lantern Corps, Lobo, and Starfire, all seem to work seamlessly. I'm guessing that with the Green Lantern titles heading into an event, that REBELS might get into that, or be too involved with Starro. Keep reading!

Justin: You know, a regular shipping schedule can go a long way. Getting Spawn to issue 200 took way too long, and hurt the book more than it helped it. I had to re-read Endgame when 200 came out because I didn't remember what was going on. The big 200 was OKAY, it wasn' anything earth- shattering, and I've read much worse. However, with a new creative team, although with the continuous behind-the-scenes work of Todd Mcfarlane, I'm optimistic, if only because maybe, just maybe, the title will ship on time. We'll see how the rest plays out.

Justin: When does this title end? After the first couple arcs, I was hoping it would never end, but it's been taking one step forward and two steps back for a while now. I'm not sure if this has to do with Hickman's super-human schedule or not, but it wouldn't surprise me. The last issue was a great character development issue for Druid, and the cliffhanger at the end seems like another of the tests that Fury and his counterparts have put together for him. I'm not sure what the next title holds, but that's not necessarily a good thing for this title anymore. [Marvel doesn't have this listed on their website, but Diamond Listings do, so I'm not entirely sure if this is coming out or not]

Justin: The second in the Point One initiative of titles, Wolverine seems like it's going to take a similar route as that of Iron Man's with lots of flashbacks. I'm hoping this book can keep going strong, as Aaron has done some of the best Wolverine work in years. I don't know if this book will stand up to Iron Man issue of Point One, though. We'll see, but in Aaron I trust.

You'll pick up R.E.B.E.L.S.? wise choice Justin, I love that book and I'd love to see a good review about it.
While I enjoyed the first two issues of BLACK PANTHER, I don't think that T'Challa is doing much for it. Replace him with some anonymous unpowered fighter and you get the same story. He doesn't feel like T'Challa, a storied Marvel character, so much as "the guy who's trying to clean up Hell's Kitchen". Indeed, I think the story would be better without T'Challa since his presence still feels rather forced.
Love the returns of the preview. I would also add Batgirl and Knight and Squire.
Batgirl has been a solid superhero book month in, month out. Stephanie has really evolved as a character and Oracle has the same positive role-model energy that made her interactions with Misfit in BOP such a joy to see.
Knight and Squire has also been a very fun book. The random british references give you something to look up every issue and the humor has been perfect. Not to mention the Batman homages such everything in the Knights cave last issue have made the book a real treat.
Interesting. I enjoyed the first Daredevil: Reborn issue but haven't been digging the Black Panther stand in stuff at all. I love the art, but something in the story just isn't clicking with me.
Nice initiative, Justin. I too have toyed with the idea of submitting a review for a book. As for what I'll be picking up, just ASM #654, unfortunately.
This article gets 2 thumbs up for mentioning both Haunt and Spawn in the same article. Awesome. I think Kirkman can keep Haunt going strong for a 101 issues at the least, especially if Capullo is there all the way.
Also this issue is 1.99$ and a new reader jumping on point. So anyone wanting to get in on Haunt, totally check it out! (what? I haven't been praising enough Image titles at the Revolution lately so I had to get it out there!)
You know it's funny that you mention Daredevil: Reborn, because when I finished the first issue I was really excited. Because I know what Andy Diggle is doing. It's basically First Blood (Rambo 1) with Matt Murdock. Loosely, I'll admit, but the threads are there.
Btw Loving both BP and D:R so far
@Redion - I thought the same thing abour Reborn. When Murdock gets run out of town it IS First Blood. I don't know if that makes it more lame or awesome. I'm leaning towards awesome - seems like the reveal at the end of the issue have put it enough away from that story.
