Considering I just changed my desktop wallpaper, which I'd been sporting for about a month now, I figured I'd just throw out a quick and easy update today by uploading the new and old wallpapers and slapping a post title on it. I figured that at least one person might be in the mood to change their wallpaper, so, what the hey, may as well upload them.
New Wallpaper

This is actually one of the splash pages from the first story arc of Immortal Iron Fist and someone was kind enough to shop out the text and credits box, which took up almost the entire bottom right corner of this page. Made for an awesome wallpaper, but, after a month, I was in the mood for a change.Conclusion
Enjoy the wallpapers and feel free to throw out an Imageshack or Photobucket link to any wallpapers you're currently using. I'm sure everyone loves their comic wallpapers and hoard them in their comic folder like I do and would be more than happy to have new ones to throw on the pile.

That one in the second link of Thor and Iron Man is awesome.It is currently my desktop background.
I'm particular about not having anything busy on the left hand side of a background, since I like to make my desktop as functional as possible, so I either go for backgrounds that are blank on the left, or take non-wide images and fill in a blank left side in paint. Like my current atomic robo background, which replaced the iron fist one from this page that I'd had for a while.

@chris - Ya, I have that Iron Man / Thor image, but it was actually resized. I updated my own folder with the new image from that link.
@bill - It depends on my mood whether I go with a busy wallpaper or not. Personally, I hate clutter on the desktop and mine consists of the recycle bin only in terms of icons.
Even with so few icons (I have the odd new download or random file on there once in a while), I still like the simpler backgrounds and that Atomic Robo wallpaper you linked is downright sexy.
I have a Thor image from the end of Civil War #3 I was tempted to use that probably fits your needs. It's all black with Thor shunted off to the side with teh hammer in the air and lightning coming down. Prety spartan for a background and basically just Thor by himself.
