Green Lantern Blackest Night - Black Lantern Revealed?

First up, just for those wondering who or what Black Hand's logo is, here's a couple comparison shots of the Black Lantern ring and his chest logo.
Obviously, these two symbols are too similar to be a coincidence and here's some dialogue from Green Lantern #6 to further cement Black Hand as a Black Lantern. I doubt he's the big bad that inprisoned the Anti-Monitor though. Only person I can think of is Neron or some other omnipotent character.
Note the last couple panels of dialogue where Black Hand spouts off about death and it being his colour and the fade to black. In case it's hard to make out, Hal buries Black Hand alive (well, read Rebirth and GL #5-6 for the full story on his living status) in an open grave. The promo has the Black Lantern rings falling into a graveyard and a hand sticking out. The pinkish tint to the clenched hand popping out of the ground could be attributed to Black Hand's powers. Again, I'm still not sure who is ultimately responsible for these Black Lanterns, but it is obvious Black Hand is involved somehow.

My guess is that he'll be a herald of the Black Lanten Corps, probably for Lady Styx or the Empire of Tears or so.
Either way, I think Johns' GL run will be that much better once everything falls into place - I, for one, was pleasantly surprised to see Black Hand brought back into the picture in this way.
I was looking back at my issues of Ion: Guardian of the Universe and I was kinda wondering about the girl Kyle meets, Marissa. I wonder why she was introduced, she became a bit of a supporting character to the Ion plot. Maybe she might become a Violet Lantern like the Star Sapphires or maybe one of the Blue Lanterns of hope.
