This concludes a rather busy week worth of updates to the site's appearance and general functionality. You might notice the side bar has filled up over the past week with numerous additions and changes. Click the link to see the other features I have added and a general run down of what to expect in the future.
The week started off with me learning how to set up my posts so they can be cut off and you only have to click to read the whole article. This feature is not built into Blogger, so I had to do some research to figure this one out. No more wall of huge text to scroll through the main page anymore, which should be a relief to people looking for specific columns. From here, I updated the side bar with numerous tweaks and some new additions.
At the top of the panel is a feed of my most recent posts followed by a listing of the most popular articles, labelled the Back Issue Bin, on the site. These are only the most popular so make sure you check out the rest of the site for even more great content you might have missed.
Next on the list is a selection of various comic book blogs and related news sites I frequent. If you are interested in having your site linked to, you can drop me an email at kirbymorph@gmail.com with a link to your site. I typically only list sites that I actually read on a regular basis, so if I do not add your site to the list, please do not take offense to it.
The next to last feature in the side bar is the links to my archives in the Pre-Crisis Posts listing, where you can read through the Weekly Crisis Comic Book Reviews, Comic Book Crisis of Faith or various other postings you might have missed in the past, all listed in a convenient manner by the date they were published.
Finally, I have replaced the Labels section with a cloud structure and renamed it Thought Bubbles, which is a lot nicer looking and more functional, with the more popular and written about topics in larger fonts and less popular ones in smaller fonts.
Along with these improved side bar features, I have started several new weekly features here at The Weekly Crisis. The first one was this weeks Post-Crisis Comic Book Previews, which is a list of comics coming out next Wednesday with the cover art, solicitations, comments and expectations from yours truly. The other new weekly I added was the Comic Book Moments of the Week. This article is a new favourite of mine that I am sure many people will enjoy. It contains scans of the numerous comical, dramatic and just plain awesome moments from this week's selection of comics with some colour commentary on my part. Some of the highlights of this week's column included Black Adam's bungee jumping with a yeti's intestines to retrieve Isis' bones, Thor laying the smack down on Iron Man, the Green Lanterns running into the Anti-Monitor and many more!
While you are checking out these new features, do not forget to check out the older columns, the Weekly Crisis Comic Book Reviews and Comic Book Crisis of Faith - Grant Morrison's Batman.
These new additions and old favourites are for you, the readers, and comments are always welcomed. No registration is required either, so just post under Anonymous if you do not feel like logging in or signing up to comment. As always, expect these updates and more every week on The Weekly Crisis!

Dear Weekly Crisis:
Heh, that sketch is super.
Is that you?
Good luck with everything.

Ya, that is an excellent image. Sadly, I did not draw it. I wish I could draw that well. It was actually taken from an image drawn by Steve McNiven for his upcoming Amazing Spider-Man run.
I just liked the image and thought it showed someone that looked like he was confused or trying to figure something out. Weekly Crisis is designed to help people solve the crisis of what comics to buy each week. I thought it was a nice fit for the banner and my blog image.
Thanks for the comments. Hope you enjoy the site.
