Cover of the Week - Superior Spider-Man and Five Ghosts

And to finish off this busy week, let's turn to our Covers of the Week.  There's some superior practical jokes and a couple of haunting specters for you on the other side of the cut, along with our honourable mentions, so hit that jump and check it all out!

Ken's Cover of the Week Superior Spider-Man #6 by Humberto Ramos

Ken: Lighthearted compared to previous covers where Spider-Ock was pointing a gun at the reader, I think what sets this apart is how it feels more like a page from inside the book as opposed to the cover, which is something you don't really get a lot. I think the only time I can remember something like that was Jim Shooter's short return to Legion of Superheroes a few years back. It also sets up nicely how the story goes from fun to angry very quick, so you wouldn't be spoiled by the cover. Unless you read this paragraph. My bad.

Grant's Cover of the Week - Five Ghosts:  The Haunting of Fabian Gray #1 by Chris Mooneyham

Grant: This cover manages to tell you a lot about the book while at the same time playing things close to the chest.  The shot of that large figure overlooking the five smaller ones doesn't give much away at first glance, but it still perfectly communicates what this book is all about, which is great.  Really well done here.

Runner-Ups:  Dark Horse Presents #22, Comeback #5, Green Lantern: New Guardians #18
