What to Expect This Week At The Weekly Crisis

After a last minute notice that I'd be heading out of town for the weekend, I pretty much threw out the Moments of the Week post and disappeared for the weekend. I had planned to have my follow up to the reader question, What Do You Think DC Is Doing Wrong?, out on the weekend, but found myself in the boonies without an internet connection, let alone an actual computer. This also pushed back a collaborative article I had planned with several other comic book bloggers and had planned to publish today.

As such, I thought I'd post a quick schedule of posts I have planned for the upcoming week to get things back on track.

  • Today - I'm going to post the regularly scheduled Post-Crisis Comic Book Previews later this evening after I get a chance to unpack, shower and answer my email and other internet related activities I found unable to do this weekend.
  • Tuesday - I'm going to skip the Top 10 Tuesdays this week and post the What Do You Think DC Is Doing Wrong? follow up. I have it all written out (yes, with a pen, something I haven't used in a long time and has my hand cramped to hell) and just have to type it up and format it tomorrow.
  • Wednesday - The usual Weekly Crisis Comic Book Reviews
  • Thursday - Expect the Final Crisis Comic Book Reviews and the collaboration post with my fellow comic book bloggers (this might get pushed to Friday depending on how many books come out this week, which I haven't even checked yet)
  • Friday - The always popular Comic Book Moments of the Week
  • Saturday & Sunday - I'm going to roll out some minor site tweaks (mostly a contact and information section to the footer and some other explanation pages, no major design or layout changes) and do some work on the upcoming one year anniversary (August 1st!) posts and contest related goodies.
If you contacted me through email this weekend, which a few people did, I'll try to get back to you in the next day or two and apologize for the delay. And, no, I didn't get to see the Dark Knight this weekend either (they didn't even have a theatre within 200 km of where I ended up). I'm going to try and go see it sometime this week if I can, but I've heard nothing but good things about it and it looks like it rocked the box office this weekend.

@mrpeepants - It was actually sold out today when I tried to buy tickets online (yes, all 6 showings from this afternoon until midnight). Going to try again tomorrow. Wish me luck.

@msavoie1122 - I just don't have time to do both posts and didn't want to delay the post anymore than I already have after being sent on the business trip this weekend. I actually have a notepad file full of top 10 post ideas to last me until Christmas.
