SDCC was quite the weekend. There was more coverage than any one comic news site could run at once so the internet was quite abuzz with all kinds of announcements and teaser images. It's a glory time for fanlads and fangals but after the glow, when everyone's back home, the hype has died down and we're all back to the usual grind what has stuck with us? Comic-Con Day 4 News Round-Up

Comic-Con wrapped up yesterday with a relatively light offering of news.  The biggest mover and shaker had to be the Spider-Man panel with the announcement that the Brand New Day era was coming to an end.  There was also the Infinity Gauntlet movie prop on display and Grant Morrison held a panel with the fans.  Hit the jump to see a quick round-up of what I found noteworthy from yesterday's news.

CrossGen to Return in 2011?

Comics Alliance has a video showing the above CrossGen teaser morphing into an updated sigil with a 2011 in the corner from the Cup O'Joe panel that just finished up at Comic-Con.  No other details were given about the teaser.  And, yes, my predictions of Marvel gaining access to CrossGen properties from back when they were bought by Disney finall came true.  If you've read that CrossGen retrospective where I made the predictions, you'll know I loved the CrossGen comics and that makes this easily the announcement of the con for me.  Along with the Young Justice reprints, this is easily one of my favourite Comic-Cons ever.

Comic-Con Day 2 News Round-Up

Grant Morrison's Vision for Batman, Inc

SDCC 2010 is off to a bang and Grant Morrison opened up to IGN Comics about what Batman, Inc., the just announced new title he will be writing post-Return of Bruce Wayne, would be about and more.  I don't know about you, but this interview was AMAZING.  Easily one of my favourite interviews from a creator ever and the above quote has me quite jazzed for Batman, Inc.  Having Morrison talk video games and being all casual while discussing the concept for this was just fun to read.  Make sure you hit up the link for more and feel free to discuss it or Batman, Inc. in the comments below.
