Crisis On Charity Arts - Francesco Francavilla's RoboCop
Francesco Francavilla is a comic artist star on the rise with high profile work for both Marvel and DC right now. In other news, a bunch of people decided they would actually fund a statue of RoboCop in Detroit (never mind real charities that could have used that $60,000, and growing). These two stories have intersected as Francavilla decided to do something good for the world and has made his own drawing of RoboCop (seen above) and is auctioning it off on his blog with the funds going to an actual worthy cause, Forgotten Harvest, and thus this money will actually help others not just provide a cheap laugh.
If you are keen to actually help people, and get some very cool art in the process, then head over to Francavilla's blog and place a bid. He'll even cover postage to you and throw in a copy of his sketchbook. The bidding started at $50, and will go up in $5 increments, but is already up to $200 at this time of posting.

Crisis On Infinite Arts - Francesco Francavilla's Man Without Fear Puzzle
Francesco Francavilla has just revealed the complete Man Without Fear puzzle that he used as teaser images back before Black Panther was announced as the character to take over the mantle of protecting Hell's Kitchen. When placed together, the teasers all lined up but there was always one piece missing. Turns out that missing piece was Daredevil, and he was strategically missing because he will be missing from his own title. Francavilla has given us a look of the entire puzzle completed so hit the jump to see it and enjoy.

Crisis On Infinite Arts - Francesco Francavilla's Hawkman (and more!)
Francesco Francavilla is the insane genius mind behind a stack of pulp reinterpretations of superheroes, pulp heroes, and horror and sci-fi flicks from the past. His comic work can be found in Zorro and Green Hornet Year One, as well as previously in the fifth trade of Scalped, High Lonesome, and Tales of the Fear Agent. He has a Wildstorm mini series coming up, penned by Jeff Marriotte, called Garrison which looks to be very interesting and perfectly suited to Francavilla's lurid dime-store style (which I say with all the respect I can, and should, muster).
Much of the following work can be seen on Comic Twart, an initiative where a group of artists choose a weekly character and all interpret that character in their own style and way, and also Francavilla's own website, follow him on Twitter, @f_francavilla, and you'll eventually most likely be lead you to his side project, Pulp Sunday. If you're not Google Reading those sites by now then after the jump you most certainly will be. We've got John Carter, Zorro, Jason Voorhees, Dashiell Hammett, Elvis, Black Beetle, and Archie. Check it out, you know you want to!
