Cover of the Week - Deadpool and Black Science

Let's roll right into our Covers of the Week, shall we?  This time around, we've some Deadly Melodies and some dark and stormy science in action.  So hit the jump to check these beauts out, along with the week's honourable mentions!

Ken's Cover of the Week - Deadpool Annual #1 by Tradd Moore

Ken: Marvel might be owned by Disney but it doesn't mean they can't pay homage to Looney Tunes. A fun cover that tells you everything you need to know, only on a much more violent nature. Hey, this might even be stealing from Zach Snyder's attempt to revamp a Bugs and Daffy cartoon.

Grant's Cover of the Week - Black Science #1 by Andrew Robinson

Grant: Black Science had an electrifying start with issue #1 this week, and this gorgeous cover by Andrew Robinson really sets the tone for the whole thing.  The painted image on the stark white sideground gives the impression of a science fiction book cover from yesteryear, which thus far feels like a surprisingly appropriate lead-off for this new series.  Of course, it never hurts that the image itself happens to be beautiful on its own merits.  Hopefully they keep Robinson around.
