Cover of the Week - Young Avengers and Flash
Let's roll on out some Covers of the Week, shall we? This time around we've some youthful vindicators and a crimson speedster racing across our comic book fronts. So check behind the cut to see these glorious wrappings, along with our honourable mentions!
Ken: I always like these types of covers, where you have two or more versions of a character showing up and blending together (much like those new X-Men: Days of Future Past movie posters). Here it goes to 11, with all the different multiverse counterparts having some change while everything still being normal if you just took a brief look at the cover on the stand or on screen.
Ken's Cover of the Week - Young Avengers #8 by Jamie McKelvie
Grant: It's been a good long while since I last read Flash, but these kind of covers almost make me wonder if that's the right choice. Francis Manapul is one hell of an artist, and while it's usually his interiors that blow me away, this is an amazing cover image. Its seemingly simple iconography communicates an incredible amount of information, all while looking absolutely gorgeous.
Runner-Ups: Lobster Johnson: A Scent of Lotus #1, Superior Spider-Man Team-Up #1, Lazarus #2
