Cover of the Week - Batman & Robin and Suicide Squad
Worry not, dear friends, for the Covers of the Week have finally arrived! This time around, we've some exploding skulls and liquefying bodies. I-it's kind of a violent time. But you should check it out nonetheless, along with our honourable mentions, on the other side of the cut!
Ken's Cover of the Week - Batman & Robin #20 by Patrick Gleason
Ken: A nice cover that all comes down to the detail of the shattered helmet. You know what you're going to get with this cover, an angry Batman who is sharing some time with the angriest member of the bat-family, Jason. From the top down you get a nice explanation of everything; title, face, tagline. Good stuff.
Grant: While this cover only relates to the story content in but the loosest of metaphorical ways, I can't help but enjoy it anyways. The wanton destruction and chaos coming from that screaming skeleton, set to that bright yellow background, just looks good. Sometimes that's all you need. This is definitely one of those times.
Runner-Ups: Avengers Academy #9, Uncanny X-Force #4, Fearless Defenders #4
