Cover of the Week - Captain Marvel and Superman Family Adventures

Let's cap things off with another round of our coveted Covers of the Week, shall we?  There's some exciting covers on deck, including the new company that Captain Marvel seems to be keeping and an adventure for the Superman family that is completely bananas!  There's all this and the week's honourable mentions, so hit the jump to check it all out!

Ken's Cover of the Week
- Captain Marvel #3 by Ed McGuinness

Ken: Carol has taken the blonde bombshell thing quite literally, hasn't she? Another thing that I like about the cover is how the creators are placed on the bombs as opposed to their normal corner. A WWII inspired cover, like last issue, but still original and visible on the stands.

Grant's Cover of the Week - Superman Family Adventures #4 by Art Baltazar

Grant: Haha. This cover is amazing. It's smack full of tons of Superman ridiculousness, including his supermonkey Beppo and the best reinterpretation that I can imagine (i.e. a big ol' monkey that's clearly just riffing on King Kong and no more). I also really enjoy Superman's expression and exclamation. Bonus points for the Daily Planet crew in the background - especially Perry's greater concern with having his coffee (alternatively, he blames coffee for its role in this awful ape affar?!?).

Runner-Ups:  Batman Beyond Unlimited #7, Uncanny X-Force #30, Powers #11
