Our reviews are running a little behind this week due to events beyond my control, so to tide you over in the meanwhile, I offer you some Covers of the Week!  We've got some ancient glyphics that you probably wouldn't like if they were angry and a rather grim solider reaping for more.  So hit the jump to check these out, along with our honourable mentions!

Ken's Cover of the Week - Hulk #53 by Dale Eaglesham

Ken: Going completely different in style, this cover still let's you know it's about Red Hulk with the color but also lets you know what the inside of the book will be about, no need for Mayan Rule to be on the cover at all. And keeping the Hulk logo up top just for it to stand out on the rack or shelf keeps everything gravy. A nice change of pace from the usual movie posters we get for covers.

Grant's Cover of the Week - G.I. Combat #2 by Alberto Ponticelli & Wayne Faucher

Grant: Now this is a cover! I know that this Unknown Soldier isn't quite on the same level as that of his earlier Vertigo iteration, but that Grim Reaper shadow is awesome. It's a really powerful image that says a lot about the character and his intentions in a deceptively simple manner. Love it.
