Ken's Cover of the Week - AvX: Versus #1 Variant by Adam Kubert and Stuart Immonen

Ken: Why isn't this the layout for the regular covers? It's a series based on being the fight book, let the covers give the feel of a fight ticket poster. They are continuing this theme for all the variants, but you want the regular, mass produced cover to be the best one, right? Right?

Grant's Cover of the Week - Flash #8 by Francis Manapul

Grant: I can't say enough good things about Francis Manapul's Flash artwork, and that definitely extends to his cover work for the series, which has been the absolute top.  His regular greatness is on clear display here, with a cover that really feels like it's filled with energy.  I like how it manages to both show off Turbine's powers while providing a really cool image of Flash disintegrating to nothing.  Bonus points for such a quality yellow and red colour scheme.
