Ken and Ryan's Cover of the Week - Amazing Spider-Man #680 by Giuseppi Camuncolli

Ken: Spiders! In Space! Add to it the change in the title above the logo, and a nice change of pace from other Spider-Man covers. Even the space suit has a bit of spider in it, with the tubes making it look like the four additional legs needed to be a real spider, which Peter probably remembers fondly.

Ryan: How much fun is this cover? It's ten millions awesomes of fun. This is a great concept executed spectacularly well and it makes me want to buy this issue. That's right, I want to buy an issue purely based on the cover. That, by definition, is a win for this cover. I also want to know if Spidey weras his mask inside his helmet because that seems incredibly stupid, ha.

Grant's Cover of the Week - T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents #4 by Raphael Albuquerque

Grant: This is a mighty intense cover on the Albuquerque's part.  The juxtaposition between the stark white background and the intense colours really catches the eye.  This cover concisely conveys the speed, violence, and pain that Lightning is going through, and is an impressive abstraction of the issue's contents.  But most of all, I'm just happy to see more of Albuquerque's beautiful work.
