And in one page, we see why NuDC JLA will never measure up to Grant Morrison's run.
Morrison's JLA run was excellent, here's hoping Johns and Lee can come close
I like the sentiment, but the art in that last panel... ouch. Two things jump out right off the bat: composition (there is none. they are just kinda standing there looking in different directions with generally blank looks) and Superman's face. (don't make me quote Plinkett)
... Still, I like the sentiment.
I really dislike how the artist drew their faces in this series.
That is some shitty art.
To be fair to Howard Porter, his artwork steadily improved over time.
Compositions always seemed a little too rigid though.
