Ryan L.'s Cover of the Week - Spider-Island: Deadly Hands of Kung Fu #1 by Sebastian Fiumara

Ryan L.: The layers and overall tone of cool on this cover pull it through qute easily this week. That red web is gorgeous and everything works for me. It also helps that the cover artist does the interiors and he nails it there also. This book is sublime on every page and I'm not even picking up Spider-Island proper and I'm in on this series. A very good book, get in on it for some kung fu action.
Matt's Cover of the Week - The Mighty Thor #5 by Olivier Coipel
Matt: Olivier Coipel is a really good artist and that's not a surprise. What really caught my eye is that this is a cover with absolutely no named characters on it, save the shadow of Galactus falling over a nameless crowd. And yet, that's all that's needed to create a very memorable image.
Ken's Cover of the Week - Sonic the Hedgehog #228 by Patrick
Ken: Man does that cover set off the nostalgic alarm. It's such a great cover, fellow Genesis owners unite! Genesis does what Nintendon't, even on covers!
