The Weekly Crisis turns four years old today and what a crazy year its been. We've had some ups and downs throughout the year, but I think we've come out on the plus side in terms of quality and content, especially with the addition of Ron, Grant and Ken to the team over the last few months. We intend to build on the momentum and push forward with more and more content for you guys and, as a thank you for your continued support, we're having our annual anniversary contest. Hit the jump for all the details on what you can win and how to enter!
The Prizes
Spurred on by the end credits to
Captain America spotlighting the Nick Fury led
Avengers team, I thought it appropriate to give away the
The Ultimates: Ultimate Collection, Vol. 1
for our main prize. It's the complete collection of Ultimates Vol 1 from Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch.

For our runner-up prize, I'm taking my inspiration from the
Green Lantern movie. While it took some flack for the most part (Galactus-cloud bad guy syndrome mainly), it had its moments and Green Lantern is still one of the best titles on the stands and should continue to be so under Geoff Johns' guidance. As such, I figured what better place for people to get into it than with
Green Lantern: Rebirth
, the first Green Lantern story by Johns and where the new era began.
Want to know how to enter for a chance to win these prizes? Read on to find out

Thor is the only comic book themed movie I've seen this year so far. I loved Red, but it came out in 2010.
Captain America was definitely my favorite. I thought the characterization was spot-on.

Favorite Comic Book movie? Captain America derf.
Captain America was my favorite movie this summer. It was a great movie that had a beautiful blend of action and character while still setting up the Avengers, tossing in a few Easter eggs, and not feeling rushed or crowded a la Thor or Iron Man 2.
My favorite comic movie of 2011, so far, was Thor. Hopes were high for X-Men: First Class. But tying it into the Cuban Missile Crisis really slowed it down. Thor was just a fun movie, that did not take itself too seriously, and though far from my all-time favorite, did deliver what it promised.
Hope that Cap or Cowboys & Aliens can beat it.

Captain America had to be my favorite comic movie. Chris Evans was the perfect Steve Rodgers even though his big head was cropped on that horrible skinny body.

I am going to have to say Green Lantern is my favorite. I just cannot get into the Marvel guys. And I was pretty impressed at how they pulled off a galactic space force feel into a movie. I always thought the concept of Green Lantern was too out there for movies, but they did a good job.

Thor was a near-perfect movie for me. Loved the humor, loved the SHIELD parts, loved Asgard's and Frost giant's design and most of all I lvoed Loki. :) Bring on the Avengers. :)
