Batman: Arkham City Catwoman Gameplay Trailer
Batman: Arkham Asylum was easily one of the best video games of this generation and easily took the best comic book based game title of all time. You were literally the goddamn Batman and developer Rocksteady absolutely nailed the Dark Knight and everything related to him, from combat to movement to stealth and even detective work. Game was phenomenal and I had nothing but good things to say about it when it first came out.
Batman: Arkham City is the upcoming sequel to that game and, as we're all comic book fans here, I figured many are interested in that game and any news pertaining to it. Today's Gamespot exclusive hands on play with Catwoman in action and knowledge that she's playable (and looking amazing) is just one more reason to pre-order this bad boy. If you're curious about the song played during the Catwoman section, it's Lykke Li's Get Some.
Batman: Arkham City is developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros Interactive and is set to release October 18, 2011 for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Thank you! Soundforge could not properly identify it.
I love this trailer.
Is it just me or is it really annoying that Catwoman has her zipper undone to expose her cleavage?
Seems a bit odd.
@Hoylus - That's how her costume looks in the comics most of the time (not when Cooke first designed it, but not long after covers and artists started unzipping it to show off cleavage). See this image for one example. Even Darwyn Cooke exposed a little cleavage with it in his covers. Im willing to overlook it as its something comics have no problem overplaying as well and given that the game looks like it will be great regardless. NOt like this is just trying to sell the game on sex appeal with no quality content to back it up.
So I guess I'm saying it's dumb in the comics then...
What if Batman did the same?...

Comics are exploitative towards women!
Who's-ah-WHUUUUUUUUUU?
Looking good.
Why is she wearing a costume that is obviously too small to zip up properly even if she wanted to? There aren't any pockets for a cat burglar and she has high heels. That's just a bad costume design.
I think the intent of the zipper in the original design was that she would zip it up when fighting or thieving or superheroing, but if she was just hanging out on a rooftop talking to batman or whatever, she could pull the zipper down and it'd be more comfortable (and that would satisfy your exploitation quotas for a comic with a lady protagonist). It just wouldn't work to wear that kinda outfit running and jumping and kicking.
But oh well.
Wow! Adding Catwoman as a playable character really shifts the dynamic and makes me even more excited for this awesome looking game! Nice trailer!
