I hope everyone had a nice Christmas (or whichever other holiday you celebrate), and that you weren't snowed in like half of the northern hemisphere. The gift-giving season has passed and it's time to count and recount your haul this year. What comics and other related gifts have you received this year?
For me, I got Understanding Comics and it's sequel Reinventing Comics by Scott McCloud from my lovely wife. Additionally, she also got me Batma: Arkham Asylum, which I think makes me officially the last person on Earth to get that game. Though not entirely related to comics, I also got a set of the Lord of the Rings books (which I had but gave away when I moved) and a t-shirt with Wolverine on it.
What about you? What did you get this year? And more importantly, what did you give out this year? Let us know in the comments section below.

I got a couple of gift cards to my LCS from my infant daughter (really grandma) and bought the Wolverine Enemy of the State Complete Edition and Flash: The Human Race. The rest will take care of my weeklies for a month or so.
Kinda comics related, I got more Transformers, I need to finish off the modernisations of the G1 characters. And some based off the new game and a couple of Animated leftovers, like my much coveted, been waiting 26 years for her, Arcee.
Because I have been out of work for the last year, I gave everyone hugs as their presents. They all understood and appreciated them very much.
Gran Turismo 5 and 800 bucks. Not exactly big on variety, but I don't like people buying comics for me. I either already have it or I don't want it.

DOCTOR WHOOOOOO! series 1 and 5
walking dead compendium and a bunch of toys because im 8 years old (just kidding, im 22)
