Cover of the Week - Chew & Knight and Squire

Welcome to another edition of Cover of the Week! What have we got for you on this lovely Sunday (Note: your Sunday may not actually be lovely, check with your local provider)? Well how about a parody of a famous artwork and Britain's most lovable dynamic duo? Hit the jump to see the winning covers.

Ryan L.'s Cover of the Week - Chew #15 by Rob Guillory

Ryan L.: Imagine if this came foil embossed as well, ha. Kidding aside, it's an homage cover in tri-fold, which could have opened the flood gates for mockery, except for the fact this cover is just so good and so much fun. Guillory's artwork is the kind you can really stare at forever. There's little things all over the place and I can see no other way to go than cover of the week for this one? I wonder if any of the other lads will join me in this?

Matt's Cover of the Week - Knight and Squire #2 by Yanick Paquette

Matt: There's something delightfully Mignolian qualities to this cover. I don't know if it's the simple and bright colors, or the dark shadows, or a combination of both, but it's quite visually striking.

Runner-Ups: Ant-Man & Wasp #1, Justice League: Generation Lost #13, Shadowland: Daughters of the Shadow #3

I agree 100% with Chew as the cover of the week.

Others not so much.
