Chris "Thor" Hemsworth's Thoughts on Online Feedback
Chris Hemsworth, the actor playing Thor in the upcoming film from Marvel, tells us why he no longer reads comments from online discussions about the upcoming Thor movie. Based on how much discussion the Green Lantern costume reveal recently stirred up, I can kind of seeing where he's coming from. Via an interview with USA Today.
In Pullquotes, we present a quote and related imagery, to provide a source of discussion and/or thought among our readers. Feel free to comment on the above image.

he's wise if he never reads online comments again. In the end he's out to do the best he can at his job and put forward a great performance. If he worries about not pissing off those most despicable of beings known as online comic fans then he'll be doomed to fail.
And we wonder why the industry (any industry, not just comics) doesn't listen to its fans.
I don't blame him.
Yeah, it's kind of pointless to go to message boards to gauge the public's reception. He shoudn't bother.
I think thats the best picture so far.
I dont blame him for not reading comments but it is nice sometimes to know what the fans are looking for.
Holy crap, it looks like he could crack nuts with those biceps.
wow now I understand the use of steroids = P
He's definitely bulked up from his role as Capt Kirk's father in the new Star Trek.
Ah, it's nice to see an Aussie so well representing on the gloabl stage. I really dig Hemsworth in this role and think he'll do great, or at least hope he will. I think he looks the part perfectly, all us Aussies are really Asgardian of build :)
@Ryan - Well, youve got Wolverine and Thor now, so you're ramping up your own Avengers team by the looks of it.
"...all us Aussies are really Asgardian of build"
Just don't forget Volstagg is an Asgardian. :P
Let's not forget that an Aussie also played V and that Hugo Weaving is going to be Red Skull too.
I doubt I need to address Heath Ledger's perfect performance as the Joker, and even Eric Bana did a pretty decent Hulk in my opinion. Seems Aussie's are perfect for the comic silver screen, and an Aussie Avengers team would rock.
O, oh, and Kylie Minogue was one of the Street Fighter chicks in the movie, does that count? Do I want it to?
Seeing as Street Fighter is primarily a Video Game thing, I don't think you need to count that movie if you don't want to.
@Space Jawa - They have a lot of comics from Udon that aren't bad. And they show up in Marvel vs Capcom, so I think it's ok to include it for this discussion, ahahah.
But Kirk, I don't wanna include it... :)
I wonder who has the best movie comic characters, Australia or Canada...?
I'm pretty indifferent about Thor but from what I've seen so far this doesn't look to good, but honestly unless I hear rave reviews, I'm staying away from Superhero movies untill Batman 3, and or they finally make Doctor Strange and Edgar Wright's Ant-Man movie. Oh and Chris looks cook in the pic but so far nothing I've seen has gotten me excited about this movie.
I wasn't a fan of Iron Man (still ain't), but those films were awesome. Maybe Marvel will do the same with Thor, especially since I'm completely unfamiliar with him.
Here's hoping!
Hmm, this comment thread went from the pullquote at hand to just discussing the man's gun show very quickly. That's pretty funny, wish a female commenter would come in with her thoughts...
