Crisis on Infinite Arts - Karl Kerschl's Dark Knight Returns

Today's Crisis on Infinite Arts feature spotlights Karl Kerschl (Homepage | Twitter), a Canadian comic book artist who's been working in the comic book industry for over 14 years.  He's worked on titles such as Wednesday Comics, Superman, and Teen Titans: Year One, to name a few.  He currently works on his weekly webcomic, The Abominable Charles Christopher, and is also working on his own original graphic novel.

I chose to spotlight his recent sketch of Batman and Robin from the Dark Knight Returns simply because I had recently re-read DKR and loved the contrasting style of Kerschl compared to the dark and gritty Frank Miller original.  I've included a selection of Kerschl's other work after the jump for your viewing pleasure.

I simply cannot recommend The Abominable Charles Christopher enough. It's endlessly charming, occasionally experimental, and consistently well-illustrated.
