Crisis on Infinite Arts - Ryan Ottley's Batman vs. Wolverine
Batman versus Wolverine. Two of the most popular characters in comics battling it out, and sure to anger some fanboys faster you can say "But, what about the prep-time?!", this piece by Ryan Ottley is a perfect representation of his work: simple and dynamic, sometimes cartoonish, but still managing to be filled with gore.
Ryan Ottley has very few published comics under his resume, but it helps thatone of them happens to be the popular Image title/character, Invincible. Ottley has been on that book since issue #8, collaborating with Invincible creator Robert Kirkman on more than 50 issues since then. Ottley has helped co-create many characters in that series.
More recently, he is once again collaborating with Kirkman, Todd MacFarlane and Greg Capullo, on a brand new ongoing series for Image, called Haunt. You can always follow Ottley through his Deviant Art page.I have also included some other sketches and memorable pieces by Ottley after the jump.

Somehow I cannot see Batman die so easily at Wolverine´s hands (claws). Lol.
That depends. Does Wolverine get any prep-time?
Also, is that Bruce Wayne or Dick Grayson? That's relevant information.
Man, I guess I'll have to go read those old issues of Dark Claw now...lol
Must be Dick, Bruce would destroy Wolvie. And even if he lost, he'd look badass dying.
I thought the movie The Prestige covered this already. Batman wins, even when you think he's going to lose.
Damn, DC must have wronged Ottley in some way... That said, I love his art, it's got a great cartoon feel with out being overly stylized and his violence has that great Steve Dillon balance of awesome and hilarious.
The drawing is somewhat old, so I think it is supposed to be Bruce inside the cowl.
@Naymlap: Hahaha! I love The Prestige.
Terrible. http://duss005.deviantart.com/art/it-s-an-operating-table-99202503 Dustin Nguyen got it right.
I was kidding about the Bruce/Dick thing. :P
I LOVE his Captain Britain. Ah, if only people gave just enough of a darn to have kept MI13 ongoing, but not so much as too make it super-popular and force it into BS mega-event crossovers with Wolverine and the Avengers.
