Crisis on Infinite Arts - Rafael Albuquerque's Incredible Thorcules

Rafael Albuquerque (Twitter) first appeared on my radar with his stellar work on DC's Blue Beetle series.  He's also done creator owned work in the form of Crimeland, The Savage Brothers, and various other projects.  Currently, he's doing cover work for Marvel, most notably Incredible Hercules (as seen above), and interiors on DC's Superman/Batman.  In non-comic work, he's even done some storyboarding for the Angels & Demons movie.

I chose to spotlight Albuquerque's Thorcules cover image because it was the first promotional image we'd seen for that storyline and, well, it's Hercules dressed like Thor - what's not to love?  Hit the jump for some more samples of Albuquerque's comic work.

I really liked his Incredible Hercules covers! Looking at the other examples you posted he has a nice style for interior work, although his super girl from the image you posted looks odd to me: like her head is a little too much to her left and not aligned with the rest of her body
