Invincible Iron Man and Incredible Hulk head up our Cover of the Week nominations in an otherwise uneventful week, at least on the cover side of things. Hit the jump for a look-see and find out why each was chosen.
Kirk's Cover of the Week - Invincible Iron Man #19
Kirk: While there wasn't much that really caught my eye in cover land this week, this Iron Patriot cover for Invincible Iron Man was one of the only ones that actually reached out and grabbed me as I perused the shelves this week and that was enough to earn it my Cover of the Week.
Matt's Cover of the Week - Incredible Hulk #603
Matt: There wasn't much in terms of "Wow" covers these week, but I really like how
Ariel Olivetti draws the
Hulk. It seems he was born to draw this book but I'm not quite sure what the thing on his arm is. I still think this cover is great though.
Runners-Up: Batman Confidential #35, Power Girl #6 & Dark Reign: The List - Hulk #1

I'm with you on the IRON MAN cover. In fact, along with the actual content of the book, every cover from MOST WANTED has been pretty great. I can't remember a time when I've enjoyed every aspect of IRON MAN as much as I do now.
Also have to agree about Ariel Olivetti on INCREDIBLE HULK. I've always found his character work to be too bulky. Fortunately, that is exactly what this book calls for.
That cover of Hulk 603 is great. The Colors, the scene, everything's great! :)
my love this week lied with Skrull Kill Krew's final Cow Variant. I mean COW GALACTUS!
the worst being merc with a mouth 4 and it's photoshop effect action figure cover. in fact that might be worst cover ever
@Flip The Page: I completely agree about the DEADPOOL:MwAM cover. I'm sick of Suydam's covers, to begin with, but his DEADPOOL covers have been just BAD. Next issue doesn't look much better.
I thought Batman on the Confidential cover was X-Force Wolverine for a sec. I can't recall if an issue came out this week or not, but all the Deadpool: Merc With a Mouth have been crackingly good! They're all homages to old movie posters, the latest one was Scarface. Awesome.
