Cover of the Week - Incredible Hercules, Nomad & Doom Patrol

This week's Cover of the Week column sees Rafael Albuquerque walk away with two out of three of the nominations for his work on Incredible Hercules and Nomad: Girl Without a World. The third cover nod went out Doom Patrol #2. Hit the jump to see each cover and our reasons for choosing them.

Kirk's Cover of the Week - Incredible Hercules #134

Kirk: This is the perfect tongue-in-cheek cover to an Incredible Hercules issue and sums up the character to a tee. Also a favourite of mine because it actually relates to the contents of the issue, something covers rarely seem to do these days.

Matt's Cover of the Week - Nomad: Girl Without a World #1

Matt: Rafael Albuquerque delivers a strong, iconic cover, but what really makes this cover stand out among the rest is the colours. It's amazing what Chris Sotomayor was able to do with just three colors (four if you count the white parts).

Ryan's Cover of the Week - Doom Patrol #2

Ryan: I can't remember the last time I saw a cover that was this playful. I can see why DC is using this image as an advertisement for this series, at is a hilarious way to highlight both the main and co-features of this title. I don't even read Doom Patrol and I may hunt this one down.

Runners-Up: Amazing Spider-Man #604, Adventure Comics #2 & Models, Inc #1 (Jimenez Variant)

Somehow, I had forgotten that it was Albuquerque that was doing the Incredible Hercules cover. It's crazy how much cover work he has been getting.
