GOTHAM UNDERGROUND #2
God, I hope DC isn't stupid enough to piss off Spoiler fans by making this some cheap cop out or attention grab. For such gaudy colours, I've always loved her costume and this splash page was a great return for the Spoiler costume (and hopefully Stephanie). Wasn't expecting her to show up until later in this series based on the covers. Glad to see her back.
COUNTDOWN TO FINAL CRISIS #22
The DiDio Corps(e) strikes again with another gratuitous death for the sake of having a death. I'm sure Final Crisis will erase all these senseless deaths, so I'm not going to miss Trickster too much or get too worked up over this.
GREEN LANTERN CORPS #18
The entire fight was pretty badass, but this lake evaporating scene was my favourite.
Okay, did not see this coming. Thought it would be a double KO or at least a serious injury against Prime. The question isn't "Who's next?", but "Who's left?". If a Superman-level Daxamite with the Ion power can't stop Prime, the only thing I can see happening is Prime attacks the Anti-Monitor and that takes the both of them out. Either, way, this was a great finish to this week's fight.
X-MEN #205
Even a blind man could see this 'reveal' coming a mile away. Still, good to see Cable back in action and I love Bachelo's rendition of him.
SUB-MARINER #6
Say what you will about the Sub-Mariner mini-series, but this ending was awesome. Didn't see it coming and it made perfect sense in light of everything that's happened. I hope this signals a revival for Doom. Maybe a spotlight in a future event perhaps?
ALL-STAR BATMAN & ROBIN #8
You either hate ASB&R or you love it. I love it and find it hilarious. This goofball take on Green Lantern fits the series perfectly and I love how he's just chilling and eating a hotdog while waiting for Batman to show up.
TEEN TITANS #53
This does not look good for Homestar Runner. Seriously though, probably the craziest moment for this week if you ask me.
