Cover of the Week - New Avengers and Young Avengers

To close the week off, we're happy to leave you with our vaunted Covers of the Week.  This time around, we've got plenty of avenging going around, and it's all of the recent variety.  So check behind the cut to see these, along with our honourable mentions.

Ken's Cover of the Week - New Avengers #5 by Jock

Ken: Jock always seems to do something original with cover layouts, and the use of Black Swan holding the scales of justice seems fitting for the tone of the series so far. On top of showing all the Avengers logos to indicate the various worlds, even the scales are balanced, showing how much of a crapshoot it is when it comes to the various earths popping into our reality.

Grant's Cover of the Week - Young Avengers #4 by Jamie McKelvie

Grant: This may not exactly be the flashiest cover in all of history, but it nonetheless has a really nice aesthetic to it.  Hawkeye and Marvel Boy facing off in these opposing arrows has some intriguing symbolism to it and also just so happens to look really cool.  I also appreciate how it relates to the Young Avengers logo (and how they point towards it in the very centre).  Again, not the flashiest, but it does catch the eye in its own way.

Runner-Ups:  Amala's Blade #1, East of West #2, FF #6
