Cover of The Week - Yours Truly, Jack The Ripper & Marvel Zombies #5

If you have been patiently waiting for the Moments of the Week, then I am bringing bad news, for they are running late. In the mean time, we have the Cover of the Week for you. Hit the jump to see the winning covers.

Ryan L's Cover of the Week - Yours Truly, Jack The Ripper #1 by Kevin Colden

Ryan L.: The set out of this cover simply intrigues me. It's some nice B&W noir work, great layover of images, and when you put the words Robert and Bloch in your header then you have to gain some good attention for sure. I also dig that the outline is basic but the heart within it seems so intricate. Very cool.

Matt's Cover of the Week - Marvel Zombies 5 #4 by Geoff Darrow

Matt: This series has had remarkably strong covers so far (I know I chose a couple of them for CoTW), and this one is no exception. It looks like the bastard child of Moebius and Juan Jose Ryp, so it's 100% awesome.

Runner-Ups: Astonishing X-Men #34, The Flash #3, Invincible Iron Man Annual

That Zombies cover is by Geoff Darrow, by the way. You know? The guy who's very distinctive art style Juan Jose Ryp has made a career out of aping.

@Steven: Ohh, the name hadn't clicked in my head, but he's the guy that did Hard Boiled with Frank Miller.
