However, I'm sure everyone will be quite happy with the reason for this small delay as Brian Clevinger contacted me and told me that Scott Wegener, the co-creator and artist of Atomic Robo, also wanted to sign the trades when he found out about the contest.
On top of taking the time to ship them to Scott, they've also offered to cover any extra expenses for the shipping for me. If you recall, I originally decided to go with just Brian's autograph to cut down on costs so I could afford three trades instead of two.
So, to have them offer to do this out of the blue for the winners, and out of their own pockets to boot, was a real surprise and I just wanted to let everyone know what stand up guys Brian and Scott are and thank them again for their participation in the contest and for going the extra mile for their fans.
For anyone wondering about the possibility of another contest, the Weekly Crisis' one year anniversary is at the end of the month and would be a likely candidate for a new contest if I were a betting man. Just a hint. =p
